About the New North

The New North project is one of the largest urban renewal projects ever undertaken in Australia and includes the redevelopment and/or refurbishment of the Department of Housing's properties in the suburbs of Balga, Girrawheen, Koondoola and Westminster.

The New North project involves the refurbishment of over 4,000 dwellings and the creation of 3,500 housing lots.
